My wife, Kathy, and I have 2 adult sons and daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren with 1 on the way.  We have been married 38 years.  We both are originally from Iowa and have lived in Kernersville, NC for 27 years.  This Iowa farm boy met Kathy at Iowa State.  We are both believers in Christ.  We have served actively in each church God has had us as a part of and have worshiped at Westover for 4 years.  I serve on a housing team ministry that meets 1 Saturday a month to work on a person in need’s home to bring it back up to code - similar to Habitat except fixing a home vs. new construction.  I work in sales and normally travel throughout North America as part of my job.  Kayak fishing has been a passion of mine for the past 5 years and wish I had learned about kayaks when I was a kid.  Currently learning how to fish the coast waters for reds, specs, & flounder.
